We are seeking a Project Manager for our valued client, a leading internet service provider!
Position Overview
The FTTH Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Fiber-to-the-Home network buildouts. This role will lead cross-functional teams, manage construction vendors, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and safety standards.
This position requires strong leadership, knowledge of OSP (Outside Plant) fiber construction, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale fiber deployment projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Planning
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments for FTTH deployments.
- Define project scope, deliverables, and milestones in alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
- Forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs to ensure efficient execution.
Construction Oversight
Oversee OSP / ISP fiber construction, including aerial, underground, and drop installations.Coordinate permitting, right-of-way access, make-ready, and inspections with municipalities and utilities.Monitor construction progress, redlines, and as-builts to ensure adherence to design and engineering standards.Team & Vendor Management
Lead internal teams and manage contractors / subcontractors for splicing, testing, and installation.Facilitate daily / weekly project meetings and provide progress reporting to leadership and clients.Negotiate with vendors to control costs and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.Quality, Compliance & Safety
Ensure all work meets industry standards (e.g., OTDR testing, fiber counts, fusion splicing quality).Maintain compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and customer specifications.Drive QA / QC processes and closeout documentation.Qualifications & Experience
Experience : 5+ years of project management experience in telecom, with a focus on FTTH / FTTx or OSP fiber construction.Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).Proven success managing budgets and delivering complex, multi-site fiber projects.PMP certification preferred but not required.
