We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent in the NY Metro Area.
Position summary : We are looking to fill the Key position of Purchasing Agent to manage inventory for high end Automation projects for a discriminating, affluent clientele.

Qualifications
- Experience of 3 years or more working as a Purchasing Agent
- Experience in the AV / Automation industry a plus
- Must have valid NY driver’s license.
- Must be a team player with ability to take direction and multi task
- Polite with experience working in a customer service environment
- Must be reliable and able to complete task in allotted timeframe
Responsibilities
Inventory management
- Work with sales / PM and technicians to ensure workflow
- Issuing purchase orders expedite and redirect as needed, pricing negotiation
- Equipment Receiving review invoices and approved for payment
- Track back orders, RMA’s, reach out to vendors when needed.
- Forecast inventory needs based on historical, current and future demands
- Evaluate and qualify potential suppliers
- Manage POs and Invoices in Quickbooks
- Equipment staging
- Issuing RFQs
- Coordinate and execute yearly warehouse inventory
- perform system wide adjustment
- submit inventory for approval
- Quickbooks and InFlow experience a plus
Hours
8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm
