We are looking for an experienced Director of Compliance to join our team. The right candidate has proven experience with overseeing home healthcare compliance and continually ensures that the organization remains in compliance with all necessary governmental / accrediting bodies.
Responsibilities for Director of Compliance
- Develop and implement compliance processes to ensure the company maintains compliance with all regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure ongoing verification of corporate compliance
- Manage all company licensure, and keep in good standing
- Work with department leaders to ensure business processes fall within regulatory regulations
- Establish a standardized compliance audit process that drives improvement
- Work with the business development team to ensure no practices violate the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law
- Be the point of contact for training leadership when new processes are implemented or updated
- Provide compliance documentation for review as needed
- Keep up to date on all healthcare laws and regulations and share updates with leadership
Qualifications for Director of Compliance
- Knowledge / strong understanding of compliance laws and regulations (CMS)
- 3+ years experience in home healthcare or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Experience and Education for Director of Compliance
- Bachelor's degree in business management or another relevant subject area, or equivalent years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- 3 or more years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in Home Health
