About The Position
Job Title : Rehabilitation Therapy Job Specialty : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Current state licensure or ability to obtain Certifications : Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Must-Have : Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
ability to adapt to new environments and work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams Job Description : Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients recover and enhance their daily living skills.
- Conduct therapy sessions, including exercises and therapeutic activities, to improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and functional abilities.
- Document patient progress, changes, and responses to therapy in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and activities to promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and the best outcomes for patients.- Comply with facility and state regulations, as well as national certification standards for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
