Flight Nurse

Job Description :

We'rehiring a Flight Nurse to work with our team of air transportationexperts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilitiesas well as scene call work.

Responsibilities :

• Flight Nurses willassess each situation to determine the best course of action tosupport, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations
• Utilize critical thinking skills to managethe critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient andsupport physicians' orders
• Take pride inproviding a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment,maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies withsafety standards and briefings
• Workcollaboratively and effectively communicates in a professionalmanner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews,facilities, and partners
• Share shift changeinfo to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintainaccurate company and regulatory documentation and records
• Nurses are accountable to maintain requiredcertifications and ongoing training required for the position

MinimumRequiredQualifications :

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in an Emergency or AdultCritical Care setting
• Maintains currentlicensure or certification in at least one state (and anyapplicable states)
• Current driver's license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA)certifications - BCLS, ACLS, PALS
• NeonatalResuscitation Provider - Provided During Orientation
• Transport Provider Advanced Trauma Course(TPATC) within 1 year of hire date
• Specialtycertification (CFRN) within 2 years of hire date
• Excellent Communication and interpersonalskills

Preferences :

• Instructorcertifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TPATC)
• Previous air medical transport experience
• BSN / MSN
• Prior EMS experience
