Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient activities on TCE observational protocols : serve as study contact for providers, track patient referrals, screen patients for eligibility, coordinate enrollment, schedule study visits and procedures, attend sample collection procedures, ensure all biospecimens are collected, processed, and shipped and / or submitted per protocol requirements.
  • Coordinate patient and site activities for a multi-site observational study in metastatic breast cancer run through the Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium (TBCRC) for which Penn is a participating site as well as the coordinating center
  • Track large cohorts of enrolled study participants throughout the protocol follow up period, coordinate follow up procedures per protocol windows, collect follow up specimens according to protocol requirements.
  • Organize and maintain subject research charts, ensure study documentation is complete and accurate, including provider documentation of study visits in the EMR, collect and enter study data into study databases such as REDCap, PennCTMS, Oracle Clinical, and LabVantage, complete case report forms per protocol guidelines and resolve data queries, prepare study data for monitoring visits and audits.
  • Assist the TCE Project Manager, Program Director, and / or PI with preparing materials for reports, meetings, presentations, and regulatory submissions
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Position is contingent upon funding.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
