Delivery Drivers are responsible for transporting products to customers from the company's stores using company vehicles.
They ensure that deliveries are accurate, properly packed, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers provide excellent customer service and must adhere to all transportation laws while maintaining a safe driving record.
This role also involves warehouse duties and interacting with customers.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare deliveries efficiently
- Load and transport items to customers
- Maintain the company vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to transportation laws and safety guidelines
- Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties
Minimum Requirements :
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED
- At least one year of work experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Experience using material handling equipment
- Previous experience selling paint and related products
