Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Armed Security Officer.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Control access to facility by monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring all personnel entering the base have the proper identification.
- Responds to situations on base using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response by following established Use of Force Policy.
- Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents that may occur during day or night.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
- Maintains proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment, control devices, and weapon systems.
- Attend extensive In-Service Training annually.
What Required Skills You'll Bring :
- Active or current TS / SCI with Polygraph.
- Qualified candidates must possess college or university program certificate; OR two to four years related experience and / or training;
OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have at least two years’ experience in either Law Enforcement, Department of Corrections, Security or the United States Armed Forces.
- Must be able to pass an annual Physical fitness evaluation test consisting of a mile and a half run, push-ups and sit-ups.
- Meet minimum qualification standards Glock 17 pistol and rifle.
- First Aid and CPR training.

Salary Range :
$15.68 - $71.30This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 30 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
