Responsibilities :
- Dispense medication in accordance with doctor's orders and state regulations like a boss!
- Keep a watchful eye on our residents' responses to their medicines
- Provide a helping hand with those everyday activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, and even mobility support
- Communicate incredibly well with residents, families, and the entire healthcare team
- Keep detailed records of all medication administration and resident care activities on fleek.
- Play a significant role in care planning and contribute to the development of individualized care plans while making it all look easy.
- Make sure our residents are always safe and sound while preserving their dignity and well-being like a total pro!
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (ya gotta have a degree, peeps!)
- Completion of state-approved Medication Aide training program (cuz nobody wants a rookie around meds)
- Current certification as a Medication Aide MA-C in Ohio (no exceptions, guys!)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an added bonus (and we like bonuses!)
- Master of communication and interpersonal skills worthy of a superhero team
- Approachable, patient, and compassionate demeanor perfect for our residents
- Ability to work effectively as part of a top-notch team and make others feel superhero-material.
