Mechanical Engineer
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design of various HVAC mechanical systems and have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects.
Responsibilities :
- Designing, analyzing, and coordinating mechanical systems and equipment. Ensure compliance with state and national codes and standards.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Perform load calculations and sizing for mechanical systems.
- Conduct energy and sustainability analysis.
- Work across multiple disciplines to provide clients with seamless MEP solutions.
- Participate in the construction administration process including managing RFIs, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, and conducting field visits.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC / Mechanical Design Engineering. Experience working on commercial, mixed-use, multi-family, education, or mission critical projects a plus.
- EIT or PE license highly preferred but non-licensed candidates will be considered for Designer positions.
- Proficiency using Revit or AutoCAD required. Experience using Trane Trace, Trace 700, and / or CarrierHAP a plus.
- Experience with plumbing or fire protection design a plus.
