Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Candidate will support an Advanced Programs development effort as the Deputy All-up-round (AUR) Lead. Electrical engineering discipline with development background is required.
The program is looking for an experienced leader for the All Up Round (AUR) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Deputy Lead position.
The engineering leader is responsible for the development of the missile system by leading the hardware design team and collaborating across all other IPTs to ensure successful capability development and integration.
The Deputy AUR IPT lead is also responsible for assisting in the managing the IPT Budget and schedule with the finance & Planning teams and driving supplier sub-system development with Supplier Management Team and the sub-system subject matter experts within the IPT.
The Deputy AUR IPT Lead will need to work across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Propulsion, Lethality, Software, Signal processing, GNC, EO / IR, RF, and more.
Brevity in several is disciplines is desired with the ability to grow into others. The Deputy AUR IPT Lead will provide Electrical Engineering oversight to the Engineering team.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS :
- Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leadership experience
- Defense industry experience
- Control Account Management (CAM) experience
- Fast-paced development experience
- Experience in failure analysis and root cause corrective action (including leading an FRB)
- Previous experience in system qualification planning and oversight
- Modeling and simulation experience
HARD REQUIREMENTS :
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum # of years experience should align to the level selected
- Previous experience leading a multi-discipline team
- Experience working a complex hardware development program
- Demonstrated Supplier sub-system technical management and oversight
- Experience in requirements verification compliance assessment
EDUCATION :
Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
