Jalilvand Law Corporation (JLC) is excited to announce an immediate opening for a motivated Legal Case Assistant to join our dynamic firm in Beverly Hills, CA.
We are looking for team players who demonstrate initiative and embody a mindset of personal accountability. Fluency in oral and written Spanish is a preferred qualification for this position.
Qualifications : Minimum of 1 year of recent personal injury law experienceProficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Google WorkspaceSelf-sufficient and able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong grammar and communication skills.Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a proactive can-do attitude.
Able to receive and implement constructive criticism.Team player with the ability to take direction.Fluency in oral and written Spanish is a plus!Responsibilities : Assist in locating and retrieving files as requested by managementWork with Case Manager & Supervising Attorney to resolve property damage claimsFile SR-1 and SR-19 as neededProvide coverage when PI Case Managers are out on vacation or as neededRequest & organize medical and billing recordsOpen claims with Medi-Cal, Medicare and other lien holdersOpen Private health insurance claims on behalf of clients, oversee the process and handle related correspondence accordinglyRequest traffic collision reports from various law enforcement agenciesAssist Case manager with client communication as needed regarding appointments and work with clients to provide required documents on files as required by the Attorney.
