Cameroon and Nigeria Researcher

A company is looking for a Cameroon and Nigeria Researcher to assist in the collection, review, and management of political violence and protest data.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and record incidents of political violence from various reports into an Excel template

Review and manage data to ensure quality, consistency, and reliability

Participate in extensive training and perform detail-oriented tasks related to data management

Required Qualifications

University degree in international relations, political science, conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or a related field

Familiarity with Excel is essential

Fluency in English is essential; fluency in French is preferable

Experience conducting desk-based research

A comprehensive understanding of the conflict and actors in Cameroon and Nigeria is essential
