Class B CDL Local Truck Driver - Home Daily - Joliet, IL

Joliet, IL / Operations Delivery / Full Time - Hourly Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class A Driver for our Joliet, IL Location.

Can have either CDL Class A or CDL Class B License with Air Brake Endorsement. Tractor Trailer and Manual Transmission Experience Required

Opportunity for overtime as needed.

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

2 years CDL Class A delivery driving experience required Benefits :

Qualifications :

• CDL Class A with Air Brake Endorsement
• 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
• Flatbed operating experience strongly preferred
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Heavy Lifting experience
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen

Requirements :

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one and two story homes
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the days deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
