About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Adult Services Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7pm - 7 : 30am, evening / night shifts, including every other weekend Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of psychiatric RN experience required;
2 years of travel RN experience preferred; experience with youth and geriatric patients required License : Indiana RN License required Certifications : BLS (AHA only), Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification (must already have at time of application) Must-Have : EPIC experience required Job Description : Independently plan and provide excellent professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders, established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice, Indiana Nurse Practice Act, and the ANA Code of Ethics.
- Utilize equipment specific to the unit, such as computerized charting and medication systems.- Work a schedule of 36-40 hours with 8 to 12-hour evening / night shifts, including every other weekend.
- Potentially float to Youth and Geriatric units as needed.- Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 10 from 0700-2300 and up to 1 : 19 from 2300-0700.
- Adhere to the dress code of Caribbean Blue scrubs.- Mandatory attendance required for a 7-day orientation spanning two weeks.
- Participate attentively in all training sessions during orientation to ensure compliance and familiarity with unit protocols and procedures.
Candidates should be prepared to deliver high-quality nursing care, demonstrate proficiency with relevant systems, and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
