About The Role :
An impactful and experiential-focused architecture and design practice that specializes in telling stories in the cultural design space through their work is seeking a Marketing Design / Proposals Manager to support their NY team.
Please note, this is a predominantly remote role and open to candidates based in New York or surrounding areas.
Working closely with the wider marketing team and senior staff, you will create engaging content, develop compelling submission materials, and oversee the work other support staff.
This is a dynamic role that necessitates proficiency in graphic design, exceptional time management, and strong communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary and highly-creative setting.

Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate the design and execution of proposals and presentation packages using InDesign for timely responses to RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and inquiries
- Manage the firm’s awards submission process to maximize recognition and visibility
- Execute marketing and communication strategies, creating collateral to drive new business opportunities
- Prepare project cut sheets
- Oversee the completion of governmental proposal forms (national and international)
- Supervise the Marketing Coordinator
- Collaborate with internal creative teams to craft visually compelling submission materials
- Support strategic marketing initiatives to enhance market presence
- Facilitate communication amongst internal teams and external contacts
- Contribute to the tracking and management of new business leads
Key Skills / Requirements :
- Degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, writing, or museum studies
- Previous experience in graphic design, communication, marketing, BD role within architecture / design and related fields
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite
- Track record of managing multiple, fast-paced deadlines efficiently
- Proactive in time management and adept at problem-solving
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible communication style adaptable to diverse stakeholders
- Familiar with the RFP / RFQ process
- Knowledge of exhibition, media, or architectural development processes is advantageous
