Director of Admissions
Full-Time, On-Site $125-140K Base plus full benefits
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead the Intake Department
- Handle recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and evaluations
- Conduct weekly department meetings
- Initiate and coordinate department goals, deadlines, and projects
- Ensure coverage for phones and intake, managing time-off requests and schedules
Staff Supervision and Training
- Oversee admissions workflow from phone screening, to information gathering, scheduling, and insurance information
- Supervise and train Intake Specialists responsible for clinical assessments, ensuring the completion of all admission paperwork
- Manage the call center, monitor performance, and conduct weekly department meetings
Coordination and Communication
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet census goals and coordinate client flow through various programs
- Respond to inquiries and referral sources, communicating admission decisions and ensuring a positive experience
- Communicate bed availability to leadership and the clinical team
- Attend weekly meetings, report on new admissions, and provide written reports as needed
Administrative and Compliance
- Ensure proper completion and distribution of paperwork according to policies and procedures, and comply with all relevant requirements
- Submit and close out all required files quarterly, and submit monthly reports for specific programs
- Maintain knowledge of managed care guidelines for admissions into residential and detoxification programs
Committee Participation
- Participate in Risk Management, Quality Management, and Management Committee
