About The Position
Job Title : RN (Registered Nurse) Job Specialty : Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration : 16 Weeks Shift : 12H Nights Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years, including 1+ years in a trauma center License : Required to submit Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have : 100% EPIC experience Job Description : Manage a 55-bed Emergency Room with an average of 250 visits per day and 5500-7200 visits per month.
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4, with a maximum of 1 : 5.- Work in a 4-zone department with resources such as MST, a charge nurse, patient flow coordinator, and triage nurses.
- Handle a variety of cases including heavy fracture cases, car crash-related injuries, COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, nausea, and appendectomies.
- Work in a Trauma Level 3 facility; stabilize patients for transfer.- Breaks are enforced with access to a massage chair in the conference area.
