The Director of Operations plays a critical role in overseeing the operational effectiveness of all car wash locations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and delivering a superior customer experience.
Reporting directly to the executive team, this leader will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, driving financial performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management, financial oversight, and team leadership, with a focus on optimizing processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee Operations Across Locations Ensure day-to-day operations of all car wash facilities are aligned with company standards and strategic goals.
- Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers, Facility Managers, and Service Team to ensure a high-performing, customer-focused workforce.
- Proactive Maintenance Management Work closely with the operations team to implement preventative maintenance strategies and ensure timely responses to operational issues.
- Develop & Refine Procedures Continuously improve operational procedures to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service delivery.
- Customer Experience Enhancement Collaborate with the Customer Success department to improve customer interactions and ensure a high level of satisfaction across all locations.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis Provide detailed reports on operational performance and drive improvement through data-driven insights and team collaboration.
- Operational Innovation & Technology Integration Lead efforts to incorporate new technologies and innovative processes to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance the customer experience across all locations.
- Financial Management Oversee operational budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and increased profitability.
- Strategic Vision & Growth Collaborate with the executive team to develop long-term operational strategies that support company growth and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business , Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- 8-10 years of leadership experience in operations management, ideally within the car wash or related industries, and overseeing multiple locations .
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and cost control strategies.
- Proven experience in team leadership and talent development, with a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams across multiple locations.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with team members, vendors, and executive leadership.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in Power BI , or other relevant operational software.
