Data Analyst - Health, Principal
Your Role
The Health Data Transformation & Evaluation team drives implementation of the Digital Health Record (DHR). As the business driver, the team leads the integration of various data sources into a longitudinal patient record.
The Data Analyst-Health, Principal, will report to Sr. Manager, Health Data Strategy. In this role you will oversee, as a Business Product Owner, the design, development, testing, and deployment of the Digital Health Record, ensuring that it meets Blue Shield’s data-driven objectives.
In addition, this role will lead efforts to validate accuracy and integrity of data received from DHR sources and its adoption within the operational workflows by end-users.
Your Work
In this role, you will :
- Liaise with cross functional teams of data architects, modelers and data quality analysts, who are responsible for building the Digital Health Record within the enterprise data warehouse
- Define and implement the data integration strategy, architecture, standards, and best practices for the Digital Health Record, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision, mission, and goals
- Establish and monitor the data quality and governance processes and perform user acceptance testing for the Digital Health Record, ensuring that the data is accurate, complete, consistent, and trustworthy
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business users across the enterprise to understand their data needs and expectations, and to deliver solutions that enable data-driven decision making and insights
- Lead design, analysis, and interpretation of various data sources to meet health data strategy goals including but not limited to creation of Digital Health Record
- Serve as a partner to the Director, Health Data Strategy and Evaluation team to ensure all Digital Health Record and Program evaluation data needs are met
