Executive Director of Administration and Chief of Staff Oregon State University Position Summary : Join our dynamic team as the UIT Chief of Staff (CoS) and become a pivotal force in driving the University Information Technology (UIT) forward! Reporting directly to the Vice Provost & Chief Information Officer (CIO), you'll be the CIO's right hand, a visionary leader within UIT.

You'll cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders both within and beyond UIT, championing the CIO's priorities and initiatives with passion and precision.

Your role is dynamic, evolving with the shifting landscapes of our priorities, and you'll be at the heart of it all, ensuring our goals are not just met, but exceeded.

You'll manage the CIO's budget with foresight, ensuring financial resources are perfectly aligned with our strategic vision.

Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping a workforce that's not just prepared for technological shifts but thrives on them.

Leadership : Lead with enthusiasm and mentorship as you guide the Office of the CIO staff. Your focus will adapt with the CIO's agenda, ensuring a seamless flow of information and results.

You'll be the orchestrator of meetings, the architect of agendas, and the voice that ensures alignment and mitigates risks.

Operational Excellence : Champion operational excellence by developing top-tier reports and analytics that offer a clear view of our performance.

You'll identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices, all while keeping the CIO's priorities at the forefront of your efforts.

Security and Responsibility : Security isn't just a part of our jobit's a cornerstone of our mission. As a CoS, you'll play a direct role in safeguarding OSU's digital assets, ensuring the highest quality and security in our IT systems and services.
