Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Regional Sales Manager . The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and meeting sales targets.
The role will involve travel within the region to meet with potential clients and promote Waterguard products. This position requires close collaboration with drywall distributors, subcontractors, architects, and building owners to ensure Waterguard is specified and enforced on projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and building materials sector, focusing on Waterguard's applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with drywall distributors such as GMS , FBM , and L&W , as well as drywall-specific subcontractors.
- Work closely with architects and building owners to ensure Waterguard is specified on projects and maintain relationships to ensure compliance and enforcement.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing client accounts and the sales pipeline.
- Travel throughout the designated region to engage with prospective clients, perform product demonstrations, and attend industry events or trade shows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with drywall distributors (GMS, FBM, L&W) and drywall-specific subcontractors .
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with architects and owners to get products specified and enforced on construction projects.
- Sales prospecting, relationship building, and closing skills.
- Experience in B2B sales , preferably within the construction or building materials industry .
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel within the designated region.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of construction and building materials is required.
- Must live in Texas and able to travel to DFW, Austin, San Antonio, & Houston as needed
