Travelling Mechanical Technician

We're growing and hiring Travelling Mechanical Technicians to assist in a variety of tasks such as repairing, installing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment within the Food Processing Industry.

Ideal candidates will have a desire to work in and learn the basics of industrial food equipment maintenance. Company offers ample opportunities for advancement within our company for those that exhibit the desire, drive, and dependability.

Mandatory Travel 100% to various locations in the U.S. (travel is company paid) Must be willing to work on weekends and major US Holidays.

This role is a customer facing role, often working with customer’s on-site plant managers and engineers related to the installation, maintenance, repair and quality assurance of food automation equipment specifically spiral conveyors.

Work schedule is dynamic and not a standard 9-5 job. Must be OK with flexible work hours.

Education, Experience, Skills, Requirements :

Must be physically fit; able to lift heavy items, fit in tight areas, climb and crawl

Extensive experience with hand tools and power tools a must

• Experience with welding (TIG, MIG, STIK) and fabrication a plus.
• Detail oriented
• Works with intention, speed, and accuracy
• Work environment : We work in food manufacturing plants, specifically on spiral conveyors. You will work with a team of like-minded individuals;

have a positive attitude, be precise, provide quality, be dependable, and be committed to delivering outstanding workmanship.

Physical demands : We work in hot and cold environments. You will frequently lift and move physical product up to 75lbs, climb up to 40ft, crawl, and be able to endure a 12hr+ shift.

You will occasionally sit, use hands and fingers, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. Frequently hear and talk, stand and walk, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Mathematical skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factors, and decimals.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Use and read a micrometer and calipers.

• Must be able to clearly communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and interact positively with all levels in the company
• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
• Must pass Background Check and Hair Follicle Drug Test
