We are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-oriented Junior Systems Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC, to begin an exciting and challenging career with Company supporting a government client.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in understanding the Software Development Lifecycle and the supporting software necessary to perform change management.

In this role, you will utilize your expertise in the area of technical requirement gathering and analysis. The ideal candidate will support our clients, providing strategic guidance in support of new applications or the enhancement of existing applications to facilitate the implementation of solutions using standard methods, best practices, techniques, and tools applicable to requirements analysis.

Responsibilities :

• Investigates, analyzes and resolves routine and advanced problems in selected functional areas.
• Assesses, gathers and evaluates client application requirements.
• Performs benchmark needs analysis and requirements definitions in selected functional areas.
• Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and maintains a variety of client environments or solutions.
• With supervision from more senior analysts and managers, handle portions of larger projects, including data development, analysis, first draft written communications and client interaction.
• Begins to develop depth in one area of specialization (e.g., solutions specialization, architectural design, etc.).
• Coordinates work with developers, testers, operations, engineers, and clients, as required.
• Writes technical documentation, completes portions of analysis sheets (requirements gathering), prepares packaged presentations, and conducts application demonstrations.
• Supports clients by designing, customizing, delivering solutions, training, and giving technical presentations.

Required Qualifications :

1 year of experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline.

With 5 years of specialized experience, no degree is required.

• US Citizenship is required.
• Must pass a DOJ Minimal Background Investigation, MBI, Level 5 background investigation. Valid EQIP JPAS transfers acceptable.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate, and triage technical issues across teams.
• Ability to conduct test risk / system impact analysis.
• Ability to thoroughly identify, document, and track defects.
• Able to prioritize, multi-task, and excel in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environment.
• Must have a 'Can Do - Professional Attitude' and be a TEAM player.

Compensation :

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
