JOBSUMMARY & PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
REPORTSTO : Lead Warehouse Worker
DEPARTMENTNAME : Facilities & Grounds Maintenance
JOB SUMMARY (2-3 sentences) : Responsible for receiving, storing,shipping, issuing, and delivery of district Facility & Grounds Maintenance Departmentmaterials / tools and other educational / custodial supplies / equipment for warehouse,off campus locations and MNPS and custodial employees.
Provides assistance withthe planning, coordination, and direction of district-wide warehouse supportactivities and performs related work as required by superior(s).
PRIMARYJOB FUNCTIONS : List, inthe order of time spent, the essential tasks performed by the position. Employees may be assigned additional dutiesby management as required.
Job Responsibility 1 :
Receives, stores and monitors stock levels, organizes and issues warehouse inventory and tool supplies to ensure quality work and cost effective department warehouse operations.
Job Responsibility 2 :
Maintains inventory and budget records; assesses department warehouse needs and orders supplies as appropriate; maintains stock records.
Job Responsibility 3 :
Provides quarterly inventory spending reports in Microsoft Excel format to superiors.
Job Responsibility 4 :
Maintain department uniform inventory; conducts random and annual maintenance truck inventory, and all necessary reports and records to ensure quality work.
Job Responsibility 5 :
Operates forklift and maintains a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.
Job Responsibility 6 :
Serves on the safety committee and represents the warehouse department. Conducts monthly safety meetings for shop personnel.
Job Responsibility 7 :
Supports department events scheduled for warehouse loading bay area.
Job Responsibility 8 :
Department trainer for OSHA certified forklift operator training. Operates warehouse forklift as required.
Job Responsibility 9 :
Other assigned duties as necessary.

COMMUNICATIONSREQUIREMENTS : Communications involves the ability to read, write, and speak.
Readstechnical instructions, charts, and / or procedures manuals; composes routine recordsand inventory forms; speaks compound sentences using standard grammar.
COMPLEXITY OFWORK : Complexityof Work addresses the analysis, initiative, ingenuity, creativity, andconcentration required by the position and the presence of any unusual pressures.
Performs semi-routine work involving set proceduresand rules, but with frequent problems; requires normal attention with shortperiods of concentration for accurate results or occasional exposure to unusualpressure.
IMPACT OFDECISIONS : Impact of Decisions refers toconsequences such as damage to property, loss of data or property, exposure ofthe organization to legal liability, or injury or death to individuals.

EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS : EducationRequirements refers to job specific training and education required for entryinto the position.
High School or GEDis required. An associate’s degree in warehouse management, logistics,inventory control or equivalent is preferred.
LICENSES,CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED : Licenses,Certifications, and Registrations refers to professional, state, or federallicenses, certifications, or registrations required to enter the position.
ValidTennessee Driver’s License Required.
OSHA certified forklift training preferred. If employee isnot certified upon hire, employee must employee OSHA certified forklifttraining immediately.
EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS : ExperienceRequirements refers to the amount of work experience that is required forentry into the position that would result in reasonable expectation that theperson can perform the tasks required by the position.
Minimum2 years applicable experience preferred.
Morespecific degree, certification, and experience requirements will be included inthe position announcement as vacancies occur.
