Responsibilities :
- Set up and stock the preparation station and kitchen.
- Prepare components of each dish by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
- Report to the executive chef and follow instructions.
- Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
- Clean prep areas and manage leftovers.
- Stock inventory and supplies.
- Cook menu items with support from the kitchen staff.
Skills and Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team.
- High level of experience working in busy restaurants.
