SPEECH PATHOLOGIST (SLP) SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY

Minimum availability required of Per Diem staff 2 weekend days per month
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate speech therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages.
This position involves developing individualized therapy plans and working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities
- Conduct swallowing evaluations and treatment including videofluoroscopy
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies
- Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking
Qualifications
- Current CA SLP license. Recent, board eligible, graduates will be considered for provisional appointments.
- CFY candidates must apply at conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision).
- Current CPRBLS and Fire Safety cards.
Therapists will apply and obtain CCS paneling once one year equivalent of pediatric experience is obtained.
Experienced therapists with 1 year equivalent of pediatric experience will apply / obtain CCS paneling within six months of hire.
