The Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled Medical Malpractice Trial Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their team in White Plains, NY.
This position offers a unique opportunity for an associate attorney with a background in medical malpractice litigation to work closely with a team of seasoned trial attorneys.
The role will require 4 days a week of in-office attendance, providing direct engagement with clients and court appearances.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in all phases of medical malpractice defense litigation, from case initiation through trial.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and trial-related documents.
- Manage discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production.
- Prepare for and participate in court appearances, hearings, and trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and present strong defenses for medical professionals.
- Handle client communications, providing regular updates on case developments and strategic advice.
- Negotiate settlements when appropriate and attend mediations or arbitrations.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation.
