What you’ll achieveAs an Electrical Senior Principal Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for putting the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production.

It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world.

We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.

You will : Design and develop electrical architecture for mobile equipment and their hardware systems. Determine and communicate design approaches and parametersDrive system architecture definition for assigned program, and ensure consistency / compatibility with other products (both new / legacy) as necessaryOversee experimental / proof of concept tests and evaluate results.

Select components based on analysis of specifications, cost, continuity of supply, and reliabilityReview original design manufacturer and sub-tier vendor proposals and capability to support product development and productionEnsure that designs integrate with rest of product functions including mechanical and software.

Create and maintains required documentation including specifications. Ensure the manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs.
