The Report Developer will focus on analyzing healthcare financial data and building reports that provide insights into the operational and financial health of the business.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES

Work with business users and analysts to understand reporting requirements and analyze dataBuild and standardize reporting objects, data, and logic at the database layerBuild Power BI reports, automate, and testEnsure flexibility, scalability, consistency and qualityFollow best practices for development, QA, deployment, source code managementEnsure proper documentation is maintained, and provide walk-through of definitions and metricsCoordinate closely with other developers to streamline processes and optimizeGain strong knowledge of underlying data and business rules, and assist other teamsAdopt agile methodology, and assist in tracking and communicating progress of deliverablesIdentify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT users, both, onshore and offshore

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

4+ years building objects in SQL Server, including tables, stored procedures, views3+ years building reports in Power BI1+ years using Agile methodology1+ years working with Healthcare or Financial dataStrong ability to quickly understand data relationships and analyzeDemonstrated ability in meeting deadlines and communicating progress across projectsAbility to coordinate and collaborate with other team members and business ownersExcellent communication, organization and time management skillsBachelor’s degree or higher

Preferred Skills

• Proficient with MS Office especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working with Azure DevOps
