Full-Time On-Site School Social Worker Contract
Minimum 1+ years social worker experience required.
Soliant has partnered with a school in the Kansas City, KS area to find on-site School Social Worker (SSW). We are seeking a compassionate and caring applicant who meets the requirements listed below to join our team.
Position Details :General Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address the psychological and educational needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive and effective learning environments.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and services.
- Advocate for the mental health and educational needs of students within the school and the wider community.
- Provide crisis intervention and support in response to critical incidents affecting the school community.
