About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Behavioral Health / Psych Job Duration : 104 weeks Shift : Day - 11.5 hours, 3 days per week - 07 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of two years of psychiatric experience required License : New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification Certifications : AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Must-Have : Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description : - Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Assess patient conditions and plan appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects.- Maintain patient records with accurate and timely documentation.- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment plans.
- Participate in therapeutic activities and counseling sessions.- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients.
