Monday - Friday between 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm; weekend call required, 1 on 4 off, Saturday and Sunday from 8 am.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a full-time Echo Sonographer traveler to assist our Cardiology Team at our main campus. The Echo Sonographer will work as part of the practice team to provide both direct and indirect patient care in a hospital / office setting. This role requires preparation of patients and diagnostic equipment, explaining procedures to patients, obtaining high-quality imaging, assisting physicians in interpreting data from images, and ensuring proper record-keeping.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Provide care according to established protocols and procedures.

    • \n

  • Demonstrate clinical competence in all echocardiography modalities.

    • \n

  • Educate patients and act as an advocate in delivering coordinated care.

    • \n

  • Maintain knowledge and competency in echocardiography per certification standards.

    • \n

  • Provide optimal customer service and ensure a professional work environment.

    • \n

  • Organize exam rooms and assist with general office upkeep and quality monitoring.

    • \n

  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and support teams.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Proficient in Adult Echocardiography modalities including Transthoracic Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo (TEE).

    • \n

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI (R.D.C.S. or R.C.S.) preferred, with registry required within one year of employment.

    • \n

  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within the preliminary employment period.
