About The Position
Job Title : Echo / Vascular Technician Job Specialty : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30), plus weekend rotation Guaranteed Hours : Contracted hours guaranteed Experience : Minimum of 2 years required;
first-timers accepted License : Florida State or compact license required at the time of submission Certifications : - BLS required- CCI preferred- RCS / RDCS preferred Must-Have : - Vascular Experience Required- Adult Echo Experience - Pediatric Echo Experience- Experience with Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Routine- Carotid Ultrasound Experience- Experience with Philips and Sunrise systems- Two references from authority figures within the last year Job Description : Perform adult and pediatric echo examinations- Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) procedures- Carry out carotid ultrasound studies- Work four 10-hour shifts weekly with the potential for weekend rotation- Participate in a weekend on-call rotation, Friday through Sunday, every other weekend or six weekends in a six-week period- Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs- Adhere to facility requirements for scrub attire in solid colors only, no logos or prints- Complete a 16-hour orientation- Comply with COVID-19 and Flu vaccine mandates, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons
