An international retail store in San Francisco, CA, is currently seeking a Japanese Bilingual Store Associate. This role involves delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-presented store environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in retail operations and conversational-level proficiency in Japanese.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all store procedures are correctly handled based on company compliance standards.
- Provide a positive, seamless, and consistent customer experience.
- Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately with established cash control procedures.
- Provide support to fellow employees such as helping to complete tasks and sharing knowledge.
- Resolve customer concerns with customer satisfaction in mind and escalate any issues to the store manager.
- Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays.
- Open and close the store, ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Japanese bilingual - conversational level
- Minimum 1 year of retail store operation experience
- Basic MS Office skills
- Team player

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
