Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for a Mechanical Project Manager (Industrial Piping Experience) in the Greater Chicago Area, Illinois.
Mechanical Project Manager Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Mechanical Project Manager is between $120,000 and $160,000.

Mechanical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Will be required to estimate your own work.
- Business development for current and future projects.
- Manage and oversee projects to include heavy commercial, wastewater, large healthcare, biopharma, aquatic centers, industrial and food processing plants.
- Meet with customers on jobsites to identify immediate and long-term needs and development of scope of work.
- Responsible for managing and reviewing project budgets and material requirements.
- Responsible for RFI, RFQ, Change Orders, Bulk Buy Orders.
- Will be required to effectively communicate directly with GCs, clients, field employees, and vendors.
- Knowledge of construction codes : 3011, 3013, 3019.
Mechanical Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and 5+ years of experience or 10 years trade experience including 5+ years in construction leadership.
- Demonstrated experience leading mechanical projects for large firms - Industrial Piping Experience required.
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and building a book of business.
- Experience with ground up services.
- Experience with projects ranging from $100K to $100 million in value.
- Proficient in QuickSoft.
- Knowledge of BIM / CAD process and procedures.
- Proficient with scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
