Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia.

🏥 Travel RN – Cardiac Holding / Pre / Post Recovery – Critical Care

Location : Chesapeake, VA (Coastal Virginia – near Virginia Beach & Norfolk)

Shift : 4x10-Hour Days | Weekdays only

  • Variable start between 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM
  • No weekends, no call
  • 40 hours / week guaranteed

    • Contract Length : 13 weeks (Contract Weeks : 91)

    Start Date : 10 / 20 / 2025

    🔒 Strict Facility Requirements :

  • No background OR license hits allowed – no exceptions
  • VA or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submission
  • 50-mile radius rule applies – No RNs within 50 miles
  • Must pass basic EKG test (1 attempt only; no remediation)
  • PAPR not accepted – must pass fit testing (no exceptions)

    • 🧠 Experience Requirements :

  • At least 2 years in Critical Care or ED
  • MUST have :

    • Pre / Post Recovery experience

  • Cardiac experience with :

    • Angioplasty

  • Stents
  • IABP, Impella
  • EP studies, device implants
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Epic experience required (no exceptions)

    • 📜 Certifications Required (AHA only) :

  • BLS
  • ACLS

    • 🛠️ Clinical Skills Required :

  • Post-Cath / EP recovery
  • Cardiac drips (titration)
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Sheath removal
  • Arterial line management
  • High-flow NC, CPAP / BiPAP
  • PCA, IV Insulin Protocols
  • Isolation precautions
  • Ventilator and Telemetry experience
  • ED, ICU, or Cath Lab / Holding experience
