Certification Details
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
- ACLS preferred for certain critical care units.
- BLS - Basic Life Support required for all candidates.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for specific units.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure advanced required for NICU.
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred for ER.
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- Acknowledgement of Pass / Fail Testing required.
- State License Verification
- NURSYS Verification
- Physical Exam
- Fit Mask
Job Details
- ECMO SPECIALIST - 8 week contract
- 2 years experience minimum
- The ECMO Specialist is responsible to provide prolonged cardiac and respiratory support to persons whose heart and lungs are unable to provide an adequate amount of gas exchange or perfusion to sustain life.
- Provide ECMO Support in all 3 critical care units (NICU, PICU, CICU).
- Patients are placed on ECMO for respiratory and or heart failure for support until recovery or as a bridge to lung / heart transplant
