Collaborate with business partners and other technology teams across Schwab Technology Services. Build highly scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, ReactJS, and cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry or similar.

Research new solutions and work with the team to provide proof of concepts and establish new patterns. Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.

Lead new initiatives by interacting with experts from across Schwab in different support organizations and business groups.

Ensure readiness for software releases to the production environment, including support of the CI / CD release pipeline.

Review the code developed by other team members and make sure it is implemented as per the design and coding standards. Write testable code with strong emphasis on unit test coverage.

Mentor junior developers. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Chicago, IL.

Salary Range : $153,000 - $246,800

What you have :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related field and 96 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation.

• Experience must include the following : Building APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and NodeJS; Building prototypes and evaluating new libraries and frameworks;
• Cloud technologies PCF, AWS, and GCP; CI / CD tools Bamboo, GIT, and Sonar; Building web applications using React or Angular;

and JDBC, SQL, database-stored procedures, and JPA frameworks.
