Wilmington Builders Supply is seeking energetic and hardworking individuals to join the team as a Forklift Operator at our lumberyard.
The position duties include driving a forklift, pulling orders and loading lumber and building materials, unloading shipments and other essential duties needed.
Heavy lifting is required, and Forklift experience is preferred.

Job Duties :
- Ability to load and unload a truck in a safe and proficient manner
- Ability to pull orders according to procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts, trucks, and power tools in a safe manner
- Assists supervisor and other employees as needed
- Restock materials and take and maintain knowledge of inventory items
- Clean and organize warehouse and lumberyard
- Be able to follow through and complete routine and special tasks in a timely and professional manner with a minimum amount of supervision
- Ability to be at work on time and for the fully scheduled shift
- Be able to wait on customers and be able to communicate and interact with a respectful, positive, and pleasant manner
- Other general tasks as necessary to the normal functioning of the lumberyard
- Able to read and write
Minimum Requirements :
- Forklift experience required, certification preferred
- High school diploma or General Education Degree
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead to grasp materials
- Ability to be on feet for 8 hour shift
