Position Overview : The Tax Manager will be responsible for providing tax planning, compliance, and consulting services to high net worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and gifts
• Provide tax planning strategies to assist clients in minimizing tax liabilities with emphasis on legal and IRS regulations
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Respond to IRS notices and requests for information
• Manage client tax projects and deadlines
• Research tax issues
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients
• Advise clients on the choice of entity and tax-efficient strategies
• Identify and research tax savings opportunities
• Represent clients during audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• CPA required
• Generalist experience is a Plus
• 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041, and 990 experience
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
