About the Position :

The Vice President, Infrastructure Services and Information Security Officer (ISO) is responsible for establishing and maintaining policies, procedures, risk assessments, training and programs to ensure information security assets are protected.

The VP, Infrastructure Services and ISO directs and coordinates the Bank's networks and information systems. The ISO also provides periodic reporting to the Board of Directors to keep them apprised of information security and training.

The ISO identifies, develops, implements and maintains processes across the Bank to reduce information and information technology risks.

This includes such items as incident response, establishing standards and controls, and managing security around technology.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.

Interacts with regulators and auditors for annual exams. Prepares reports for management team as well as Board of Directors.

  • Lead the installation, testing, and implementation of upgrades and / or new systems as business needs change.
  • Consult with departments to analyze computer system needs for management information and operations in effort to determine the scope and priority of active projects resulting in system capacity updates and equipment acquisition
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the business processes and / or systems that support business objectives
  • Ensure systems and applications remain scalable to service expanding business needs and functions
  • Manage and maintain computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, purging, and retrieval functions
  • Safeguard and oversee protections to ensure the safety of non-public information and financial transactions
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to appropriate regulations in handling and securing data.
  • Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Prepares reports for management team as well as Board of Directors
  • Partners with Infrastructure Services team to ensure processes and solutions remain in compliance
  • Recommends and implements improvements to business processes / systems that support business objectives.
  • Develops and maintains oversight of the Information Security Policy, the Incident Response Policy and Plan, the Information Security Risk Assessment, and training
  • Prepare periodic reporting to the Board of Directors on information security, including cybersecurity and training results
  • Provide oversight and conduct due-diligence in the selection of vendors to ensure an appropriate security framework is in place to protect company assets and information
  • Lead the Incident Response Plan, including communication to senior management and the Board.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on information technology experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field is required
  • Previous experience managing
  • Financial institution or a similarly regulated industry
  • Previous experience administering VMWare and cloud-based environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office applications
  • Data networking and security experience
  • Database administration skills
  • Knowledge of data security and disaster recovery systems and procedures
  • Understanding of networking / TCP-IP
  • Experience in planning, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting various software
  • Interpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with team members and all levels of business users and management
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
  • High degree of initiative

Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Working Conditions / Demands

  • Professional office setting.
  • Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
  • Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to position self to maintain computers or other IT equipment, including under the desks and in the server closet
  • Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Other common parameters entail climbing stairs, walking, reaching, squatting, crawling, or kneeling
