Make an Impact! You make all the difference for your patients! As a the designated Emergency Department Transporter / ED Tech, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary clinical team within our unit.

Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. In the role, you have the unique ability to work with patients one-on-one.

With a friendly, spirit-of-service attitude, you will be responsible for transporting patients in the Emergency Room to various areas in the hospital.

You will also have the opportunity to care for your patients' emergent issues by assisting them with their daily living, taking vital signs, Accu-Cheks, Phlebotomy, IV insertions, EKG's, and other nursing assistant responsibilities.

In this fast-paced role, you will also have many opportunities to work closely with other staff.

Position : Transporter / Emergency Department Technician

Shift : 3pm-11pm, 5x8 hour shifts per week

Experience :

1. Previous experience in delivery of patient services required.

2. Phlebotomy experience preferred.

3. Intravenous access insertion preferred.

Education :

1. Graduation from high school or equivalent required. 2. Some college preferred.

Licensures / Certifications :

1. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc / American Red Cross) required.

2. EMT / EMT-P preferred.

This position requires you to wear a respirators as part of the job requirement.
