Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for analyzing and overseeing construction projects on behalf of the company. The duties include research and analysis of opportunities presented by business partners, coordinating with company leadership to conduct risk assessments, and maintaining beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers and other business partners.

  • Normal working hours : 8 : 30 to 5 : 00 pm but on call 24 / 7 in case of emergencies
  • Based in Rosemont, but frequent travel required to Wintrust locations, mostly in Chicagoland and Southern Wisconsin

What You'll Do

  • Plan and control costs while ensuring timely project delivery
  • Coordinate ongoing maintenance and inspections to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies
  • Provide critical analysis of architectural drawings and product specifications
  • Pay invoices, and analyze operating statements
  • Prepare annual and project budgets and report on financial performance regularly
  • Manage on-site staff, and vendor and contractor relationships
  • Address complaints, violations, and problems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience related to Retail and Commercial Office Development
  • Must be an excellent communicator and able to scope and juggle multiple projects of various sizes and complexity
  • Clear understanding of commercial construction process
  • Experience with Workday, Excel, Construction Software, Prolog, Procure & Microsoft Project or equivalent
  • Nice to have : Industry-related certifications and awards
