We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant III to join our Pulmonary West clinic located on the St. Vincent Medical Center campus in SW Portland.

You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.

Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate who is personable, dependable, organized, detail oriented, strong at multitasking, and dedicated to high quality patient care.

Primary duties include rooming patients, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, injections, Pulmonary Function Testing, collecting specimens, scheduling, managing incoming and outgoing patient phone calls, providing excellent patient care and other duties as assigned.

Workdays will be Monday - Friday, 8 : 30AM-5PM. No weekends!

Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials :

Level I - $21.66- $29.30 per hour.

Level II - $23.82 - $32.23 per hour.

Level III - $26.21 - $35.46 per hour.

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years active clinic experience required; 5 years preferred.
  • Pulmonary Function Testing experience preferred.
  • Previous procedural experience - Spirometry or respiratory care preferred.
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
  • Prior EMR experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
