Description Of Duties
- Analyze requirements, decide on technologies, and design solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Apply significant creativity and latitude when designing and delivering software.
- Implement potentially large or complex systems, while ensuring high quality, security, and performance.
- Work with multiple teams, providing a large impact across the entire organization.
- Design and perform appropriate testing of software components. Promote patterns / approaches to remove classes of defects.
- Maintain existing systems by adding / updating features, addressing live-site issues, improving reliability, etc.
- Troubleshoot systems, tracking down and addressing root causes.
- Ensure work is compliant with company policies and internal controls.
- Stay up-to-date on engineering best practices and approaches.
- Network with contacts outside own area of expertise across the industry.
- Mentor more junior colleagues, potentially providing instruction for others' day-to-day work (e.g. functioning as a team lead).
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Summary Of Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience with various software development technologies, patterns, and practices.
- Wide-ranging experience, including proven experience leading work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Broad understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Post-graduate coursework desirable.

This position is HYBRID in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division.
This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $139,777 - $209,665 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
