Cardiology Physician

We re excited to offer a unique Cardiology locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina with fully flexible scheduling . You pick the dates you can work as often or as little as you d like. This is an onsite inpatient rounding and night call position with no required procedures, making it ideal for physicians seeking meaningful overnight coverage work with built-in flexibility.

Position Highlights :

Location : North Carolina

Setting : Onsite inpatient call coverage at multiple locations

Schedule Flexibility : You choose your shifts work as frequently or infrequently as you prefer

Shift Times : Mon Thu : 8 PM 6 AM

Fri : 8 PM 7 AM

Sat : 5 PM 7 AM

Sun : 5 PM 6 AM

Patient Volume : Varies (floor calls, ED consults, E&M only)

Support : Backup call available

Procedures : None required, but must be comfortable managing vents, placing central lines and temporary pacing wires as needed

Call Room Provided : No hotel needed provider will stay onsite

Requirements :

Board Certification : Cardiology

Licensure : Active North Carolina license required

Vaccination : COVID-19 + Flu (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

Credentialing : days

Additional Details :

Provide E&M services for inpatient patients

Handle outpatient calls from multiple locations
