About The Position
Job Title : Emergency Medicine Physician Job Specialty : Emergency Medicine Job Duration : 13 months Shift : Varied; 12-hour shifts from 6 a.
m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Active North Dakota license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification Certifications : ACLS, BLS, DEA, ATLS, Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Must-Have : Clean malpractice / background record- Available to start immediately and provide continuous coverage Job Description : Provide 24-hour emergency department coverage beginning in November on an ongoing basis with no gaps- Work in a rural and critical access hospital setting- Two providers cover each 24-hour period, working in 12-hour shifts- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who work 10 a.
m. to 10 p.m.- Perform all required ER procedures and manage cases involving trauma and stroke- Use Meditech electronic medical records system- Work with support staff including APPs and nursing personnel- Expected to handle an average of 50-60 patient admissions per day*Note : Travel, lodging, and credentialing preferences and requirements were detailed separately and should be provided upon matching.*
