Job Title : Registered Nurse - Step Down Job Specialty : Step Down Unit Job Duration : 12 Weeks Shift : 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : Minimum 2 years in PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care License : Valid Registered Nurse license required Certifications : - BLS (Basic Life Support)- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)- NIH (National Institutes of Health) Certification Must-Have : - Willingness to float within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles if needed- Available to work every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) Job Description : Provide high-quality patient care in a Step Down unit- Monitor and assess patients' condition with a focus on intermediary medical / surgical care- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to hospital policies- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and optimal care- Document patient care and communicate effectively with families and medical staff- Maintain compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements Note : Candidates must be flexible and adaptable to work in various settings as per the hospital's needs.
