About The Position
Job Title : EKG Technician Job Specialty : Telemetry Monitoring Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Rotating 3x12-Hour (Night : 19 : 00 - 07 : 30;
Day : 07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1 year required, travel experience accepted License : Valid WI License required Certifications : BLS, EKG / ECG course documentation required Must-Have : Experience in centralized telemetry monitoring- Ability to interpret rhythms Job Description : Perform centralized telemonitoring, focusing on rhythm interpretation.
- Work rotating shifts of days and nights, including weekends as needed.- No direct patient care responsibilities.- Comply with seasonal flu vaccination requirements, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
- Previous experience with Cerner and disclosure of Cerner usage history required.- Ability to float within the hospital as needed, with specific duties outlined by specialty.
- Completion of required compliance items, including background check and lab appointments, within designated timeframes.
- Participation in orientation and completion of training modules recorded via Kronos.
